The breakfast had a wide range of fresh options, and was marvellous. Overall the room was quiet with coffee and a nice view and space to unpack...
Even though everything was spotless, some of the staff were angry.

The room was tidy, had a big balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was simple but ok. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The location was good - near the beach and about only 10-15min walk to the Old town. Great value of money.
We had some problems with the AC, it had it's own opinion about the temperature at night. I would recomend for the manager to fix this problem, because it's very easy for the visitor to catch a cold. Also ir would be nice to have some fruits at a breakfast.

Besides some problems experienced we would go back, mainly because of the very helpful and generous front desk manager, Michael. He made us feel welcome and went out of his way to help us with whatever we needed.
Rooms floors were not clean on our arrival (including hair on shower floor) but beds were made up with clean, good quality cotton sheets. Upkeep of the hotel could be improved (particularly bad quality painting (unfinished, splatters on surrounding finishes etc.) which if remedied could improve the general ambiance at not much cost. No hot water on first night.

The beds are soft, and the room has satellite TV, climate control, and a refrigerator; in a fantastic beachside location within walking distance to a shopping mall and supermarket.

Actually, we did not stay at hotel pearl. We were asked to transfer to another hotel.michael offered free drinks, so I guess that more than made up for the simple hassle of crossing the street to another hotel. The help we got from everyone was the best thing about the hotel.
It was actually very hard to find. We were given clear instructions to the hotel by the staff via email. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing strike, the bus driver from the airport did not drop us off at the bus stop indicated by the hotel staff. We had to drag our luggage under the twelve noon summer sun for twenty minutes or so.

The location here is fantastic, and they offer free on-site parking.

The atmosphere, the stale bread at breakfast, the lack of privacy (people unlocking my door and coming in while I am in the room), having to move rooms on day 2, the staff trying to steal from me and the unhelpful way in which my request to leave luggage behind for 4 hours was handled.
